Kathleen Viscusi

Kathleen Viscusi, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Dermatology and Surgery Specialists of North Atlanta (DESSNA) in Marietta, seeing patients from Marietta, East Cobb, Roswell and North Atlanta. Her specialties include Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, advanced reconstruction, cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology, and laser surgery. According to the practice, she was named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in 2025 and 2026. She started her education at Miami University of Ohio, earning a B.S. in 2006 with magna cum laude and Honors with Distinction, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She received her M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine in 2010 and completed an internal medicine internship there in 2011. Her dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill concluded in 2014; during it she directed the resident procedural and cosmetic clinic. In 2015 she completed a fellowship in procedural dermatology, Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Indiana, where C. William Hanke, M.D. was her mentor. She also completed an ACGME-accredited Mohs surgery fellowship.
