Kate Leatherwood

Kate Leatherwood founded Last Satellite, where she works as a hair and bridal stylist. She is a licensed hairstylist who entered the beauty industry in 2008 and has spent more than seventeen years in Texas working with clients, brands and brides. Her specialties are bridal hair, cuts, ammonia-free color, balayage and formal styling.

She works full-time at Milk + Honey Salon as a department head and salon educator. Before that, she worked at Osgood O'Neil Salon, Kalour Studios and Blo Blow Dry Bar.

She holds certifications in Kevin Murphy's Color Me program, Keratin Complex, Brazilian Blowout, Deva Curl, Great Lengths, Bellami, Hotheads and Cali~Curl. Her work has appeared in Brides of Austin, Junebug Weddings, Southern Weddings and Westcott Weddings.

At Last Satellite, she also handles communication, scheduling and coordination for the artists.
