Kate Black

Kate Black founded NailsLab in 2018, opening it as a single studio in her own nail space. She began her career at the Jean-Claude Biguine salon in the United States, where she worked for more than six years. Before becoming a nail technician, she worked as a criminal lawyer. She travels to Russia to learn advanced nail techniques and developed the 4-hand and 6-hand service approach used at the salon. She personally trained the first three technicians who joined NailsLab, and she has trained nearly 100 technicians. Her work centers on the salon's multi-technician services, where several technicians work on one client at the same time, and on the advanced nail training behind them.
