Kariman Diab owns Roots Hair Salon at 1140 W. Grand Ave. in Chicago, and works there as a Master Stylist and Curly Hair Specialist. She has more than 20 years in the hair industry, the past 18 of them at this address, and has also worked as a trainer and as a stylist for fashion shows. Curly and textured hair is a core focus of her work. Her color work is also a strength: she is known for natural-looking blondes and for blends in every tone. She cuts for the whole family, from young children to grandparents. Her cutting skills were built through training and work with Aveda, Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, and Rusk.
