Kari Leon-Guerrero

Kari Leon-Guerrero is the owner and master colorist at KaRu Salon, which she founded in 2010. She had eleven years of hairdressing experience before opening the salon, and she brought experienced stylists and colorists from across Austin onto the team. Her work has been featured in Glamour, Beauty Launchpad, Estetica, Austin Woman and Tribeza. Austin Way Magazine named her one of Austin's hair icons, and she has been rated highly and honored with awards for color work in the city. Her work is marked by artistry and attention to detail. Her work pairs creative color with care for hair health. She customizes each style to suit a client's features, personality and lifestyle, and when coloring she draws inspiration from nature and textiles. Her aim is to add light, shine, dimension and texture to dull hair.
