Kamiah Mills

Kamiah Mills works at Salon True in Sherman Oaks, California. She began training for hair at 18, graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in 2011, and then worked as an apprentice behind the chair, gaining experience across a range of services.

Color is her main focus, with a particular emphasis on hand-painted balayage. She has also taken master classes around the country in cutting, coloring and styling with L'Oreal Professional, Bumble and Bumble, Matrix, Paul Mitchell and Redken.

Her work has also reached beyond the salon chair. She has worked behind the scenes at fashion shows, on film and television sets, and on magazine projects.
