Kamara Brown

Kamara Brown is a stylist at Rawwintuition in West Hollywood, where she has worked as a protective hairstylist for over nine years. Her work centers on texture wigs, crochet braids, box braids, Senegalese twists, Marley twists and related protective styles.

She is known for her signature crochet braids afro. Her clients have included beauty influencers as well as women of all ages, and she provides ongoing protective styling, designing new looks around each person.

Her work has reached beyond the salon chair. She created the faux locs for singer and songwriter Jhene Aiko's music video The Pressure, and in 2019 she taught a workshop in Paris, France, alongside top hairstylists at MCB by Beauty Selection. She is also launching a texture wig line in which each wig is handmade to the customer's size.
