Justin Perez

Justin Perez serves as Chief Medical Officer of Marina Plastic Surgery. At the Pasadena office he performs surgery, and he also practices at the Brentwood location. In Pasadena he shares leadership of surgical care for the face, breast and body with Dr. Osita Obi. He is board-certified and fellowship-trained in plastic surgery, holds a faculty appointment at the Keck School of Medicine USC Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and is one of the aesthetic fellowship directors for the USC-Marina Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship. He earned his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and the MarinaRox Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship in Los Angeles, which The Aesthetic Society endorses. He graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University and scored in the 94th percentile on the American Board of Plastic Surgery written exams. His core work is facelifts, revision rhinoplasty, and complex breast and body procedures. Specialties include advanced breast symmetry, deep plane facial rejuvenation, and body contouring that takes each patient's natural body structure into account. For selected patients he may combine a Brazilian butt lift with tummy tuck surgery, depending on the consultation. He treats each case as individual, spending time on a patient's goals before designing a plan around them. He has been a principal investigator in clinical studies of new aesthetic technologies and devices, and he researches Allograft Adipose Matrix as a volume-restoring option that does not require harvesting fat from another part of the body. He has written about rhinoplasty anatomy in Latino patients, developed the Facelift and Necklift Module for the ASPS Education Network, and authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, including in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He conducts consultations in Spanish and sees patients from Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and other countries. Patients describe him as warm, attentive and invested in their outcomes.
