Grant Stevens, MD

Grant Stevens, MD, founded Marina Plastic Surgery in Los Angeles, where he serves as Medical Director, and he oversees The Institute, a medical spa in the city. He is also Medical Director of Orange Twist Brands, a company operating multiple locations that offers non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments. At the University of Southern California he is a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery, chairs the USC-Marina Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship and directs the USC Division of Aesthetic Surgery. He has staff privileges at St. John's Medical Center, the Marina Outpatient Surgery Center and USC, and he is a past Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Marina Del Rey Hospital, where he also chaired the Liposuction Committee and served as Medical Director of The Breast Center. He trained at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, graduating with honors and receiving the Senior Prize in Surgery. He then completed general surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Washington University-Barnes Hospital. He is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons. His practice centers on aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body. He has developed combined procedures, including the mommy makeover, and laser-assisted breast surgery, including the Stevens Laser Bra. He sits on the board of directors of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, where he chairs the Media Relations and Exhibits committees, and on the board of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, where he is one of its International Traveling Professors. Appointed by the governor of California, he serves on the Medical Board of California Medical Quality Review Board, and he is a past Chairman of the California Medical Association Advisory Panel on Plastic Surgery. He has written more than 60 articles and chapters, most recently a chapter on mastopexy in Grabb and Smith, and has lectured at international, national and regional meetings. He has been named one of the Best Plastic Surgeons in America, listed in Castle Connolly's Top Doctor guide, and featured in Plastic Surgery: The World's Top Surgeons and Clinics. He has been interviewed by USA Today, People, Forbes and Vogue.
