Julie A. Byrd, M.D.

Julie A. Byrd, M.D. is a physician and board-certified dermatologist who provides medical supervision and expert guidance for SkinOvations services. She has more than twenty years of experience in general dermatology, cosmetic treatments and laser procedures. She has been certified in Botox and filler injections since 2004 and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She earned an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame and a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is a staff member at Corewell Health and Ascension Hospital, has published numerous articles and has spoken at national and international conferences. Her memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Michigan Dermatology Society, the Women's Dermatologic Society and the American Medical Association.
