David R. Byrd, M.D.

David R. Byrd, M.D. is a physician and board-certified dermatologist who provides medical supervision and expert guidance for SkinOvations services. He completed fellowship training in laser surgery, cosmetic dermatology and Mohs micrographic dermatologic surgery. His cosmetic practice centers on Botox and injectable fillers. He helped introduce hyaluronic fillers to the United States and has trained other physicians in filler use. He holds certifications from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. He also has affiliations with the Skin Cancer Foundation, the Dermatology Foundation, the Michigan Dermatology Foundation, the Michigan Dermatologic Society, the Michigan State Medical Society and the American Medical Association.
