Jules Feledy

Jules Feledy, MD, is a plastic surgeon who leads Belmont Plastic Surgery and founded its med spa. He is board-certified and a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland and Virginia. With more than 21 years in practice, he has performed thousands of surgeries and holds staff privileges at Belmont Surgery Center, Virginia Hospital Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital, Stafford Hospital and Mary Washington Hospital. His training started with a medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 1992, followed by a categorical general surgical residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. In 1999 he went back to Mount Sinai to complete general surgery and specialize in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. During that residency he held a human genetics fellowship at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, part of the National Institutes of Health. From 2004 to 2005 he completed a reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Before returning to the DC area in 2005, he spent four years in clinical and basic science research. His practice spans reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. He performs breast reconstruction using DIEP flap and TRAM flap methods, and melanoma and skin cancer procedures. Among his cosmetic specialties are liposuction, fat grafting, breast augmentation and abdominoplasty, and he has advanced skill in fat grafting for breast augmentation. He performs facial plastic surgery, including facelifts, with more than 15 years of experience in those procedures, and he weighs genetic and ethnic factors when planning rhinoplasty and facelifts. He is a long-standing member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Microvascular Society.
