Jonathan Schwitzer

Jonathan Schwitzer, MD, is a plastic surgeon and the medical director of the Boca Raton location of New Radiance Cosmetic Centers. He is board certified in plastic surgery through the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Before moving to Florida, he worked on Long Island, New York, in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. He holds medical licenses in Florida and New York and has privileges at several Broward Health and Memorial Hospital facilities.

His training started at Columbia University, where he completed undergraduate work in political science, followed by research fellowships at Columbia University Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He went on to Mount Sinai School of Medicine, graduating with distinction in research, and then held research fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and in the Mount Sinai Department of Vascular Surgery. Residency took place at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he served as chief resident.

His clinical work covers the face, breast and body, with procedures including facial rejuvenation, breast reshaping, body contouring, and chest feminization and masculinization. He has extensive education, training and experience in awake liposuction. He received a Best Paper Presentation award from the 19th Annual Rhinoplasty Symposium in 2014 and a Blue Ribbon Research Award from the 2014 Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Research Symposium. His articles have appeared in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and he has spoken at national plastic surgery meetings.
