Jonathan Schwitzer, MD

Jonathan Schwitzer, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon and medical director of the Boca Raton site. His work covers surgery on the face, breast and body, such as facial rejuvenation, breast reshaping, body contouring, and chest feminization and masculinization. He has substantial education, training and experience in awake liposuction.

Before moving to Florida, he practiced reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery on Long Island, New York. He holds certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and New York. He won a Best Paper Presentation award at the 19th Annual Rhinoplasty Symposium in 2014, and a Graduation Award from the Columbia University Office of Multicultural Affairs in 2010.

His training started with undergraduate work at Columbia University, where he held research fellowships at Columbia University Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He went on to Mount Sinai School of Medicine, graduating with Distinction in Research. During medical school he completed a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and another with the Mount Sinai Department of Vascular Surgery. His residency was at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he was Chief Resident.
