John Sedgh

John Sedgh leads the medical side of Beverly Hills Laser Institute, Inc. as physician and medical director, and practices cosmetic dermatology, including non-surgical treatments. He has worked in the Beverly Hills area for over ten years, and he has helped hundreds of patients reach their cosmetic goals. He has experience with age-related skin conditions and with patients of most ages.

He graduated cum laude from UCLA, attended medical school at SUNY, where he received a Commendation in Investigative Dermatology, and completed residency and post-graduate training at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. His earlier work includes a past medical affiliation with the Long Beach VA Hospital and practice with Kaiser Permanente, where he treated a broad range of conditions. He has taken part in publications in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology and from the Department of Dermatology at SUNY.

He handles filler planning, often layering Radiesse in deeper tissue with Juvederm closer to the surface, and he adjusts Palomar StarLux hair reduction settings for different skin tones, using lower settings for tanned skin, which typically needs more sessions. He also designs medical weight loss programs, choosing the appetite suppressant or metabolic plan for each patient, and offers NeoStrata glycolic and Jessner chemical peels. He gives medical advice alongside skin, weight and hormone care and follows patients through their treatment.
