About
John Francis is a celebrity hair artist and the owner of John Francis Beauty. He has been working for more than twenty years with private clients and in editorial, film, television, fashion and live events. His industry credits include the Sundance, Cannes, Toronto and Tribeca film festivals and the Tony Awards. He trained directly under Chris McMillan and Michael Canale before opening his own salon, and for over ten years he was on the team at a Los Angeles salon alongside Andy LeCompte and Chris McMillan. He trained under the stylists behind Jennifer Aniston's signature look. He has served guests from hotels including the Four Seasons and Hotel Beverly Terrace. His work has been covered by Allure, Shape, Grazia and SFGate. His specialties are precision cutting, luxury blonding, dimensional color, highlights, balayage and custom toning, along with color correction, gray blending and smoothing treatments. He also styles hair for events and for the camera. He works one-on-one from his West Hollywood studio, keeps appointments unhurried, and personally reviews every appointment request.
