John A. Kotis

John A. Kotis is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who leads the Chicago practice at Kotis Plastic Surgery, with more than 23 years of experience in medicine and surgery. He trained with a three-year general surgery residency, then a three-year residency and fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and he chaired the osteopathic college's Section of Plastic Surgery from 2012 to 2014.

He is part of a teaching faculty and keeps up with his field through courses, journals and new techniques. He is also a current Board Examiner and writes test questions for surgeons seeking board certification in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
