About
Board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. John A. Kotis has practiced medicine and surgery for more than 23 years. He handles every first consultation himself, and stays involved in each patient's care after surgery. He also oversees the non-surgical treatments at the Arlington Heights medical spa. He is part of a teaching faculty and serves as a Board Examiner, writing test questions for physicians seeking board certification in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
His training covered a three-year general surgery residency, followed by a three-year residency and fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and from 2012 to 2014 he chaired the osteopathic college's Section of Plastic Surgery. He keeps up with new techniques from around the world through courses, journals and other resources.
His surgical work includes breast augmentation, nipple repair, breast reconstruction after mastectomy, abdominoplasty, tummy tuck surgery, the Slim Line Abdominoplasty, liposuction, Brazilian butt lift, mommy makeovers, high-definition liposuction, gynecomastia surgery, and facial procedures that make subtle changes.
