Joey Viola Gehman

Joey Viola Gehman is the owner and a stylist at VIOLA Salon in Philadelphia. He founded the salon as the owner, opening it as a space that reflects his own values.

Joey has nearly two decades of experience as a stylist and is a Redken Artist, with advanced certifications in design, color, and barbering. His specialties include textured hair, balayage, blonding, cutting, razoring, and barbering. He has built his career on technical work and on mentoring and educating stylists across the country.

He works with all hair textures, from straight to coily, and treats each one with equal respect. Before any styling begins, he plans the look with the client through conversation.
