About
Joey Figueiredo is the owner hairstylist at Figueiredo Hair Studio in Kansas City, and has worked as a hairstylist for 17 years. Specialties include grey coverage, extensions and dimensional colour.
After moving to Kansas City, Joey trained through an apprenticeship before becoming a full stylist, and has also trained and worked alongside other stylists. Joey has worked as an educator for seven years and has travelled around the US teaching cutting and colouring techniques.
Outside the studio, Joey has styled hair for photoshoots and at New York Fashion Week. Clients range from young adults to people updating their style at every stage of life, and each look is shaped around their ideas, their photos and the way they live.
