Jodi Ninomiya

Jodi Ninomiya is a senior colorist and the founder of Violet Fury Hair Studio, which she opened in 2020. She began her career as a color specialist in 1993 and trained with Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco and London.

Her career has included serving as Director of Color Services for Architects & Heroes, co-owning Dekko, and working as a senior colorist specialist at Harper Paige Salon in San Francisco. She has also educated and mentored other stylists.

Her specialties are dimensional highlights, vibrant reds, rich brunettes and creative color, and she works with keratin re-texturizing treatments. She aims to build lasting relationships with clients and believes hair color should evolve as their hair and preferences change over time.
