Joan A. Osder

Joan A. Osder, M.D., is a dermatologist at Dermatology Associates Medical Group in Beverly Hills, California, where her work covers general dermatology and dermatologic surgery. She has been in private practice since 1987. She earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1977 and an M.D. from the same university in 1981, then completed an internal medicine residency in 1984 and a dermatology residency at UCLA in 1987.

Her cosmetic work includes photo rejuvenation, chemical peels, laser treatments for hair removal and acne, leg vein treatment, Botox, and dermal fillers. She is certified in laser surgery and pulse light therapy. A patient reviewing the practice mentions her skill with freezing and with biopsies of suspicious areas.

She served on the UCLA clinical faculty from 1988 to 1992 and has since given guest lectures to local groups and area schools. She has appeared on several television and radio health segments, volunteers at local free clinics, and takes part in free skin cancer screenings at health fairs. She is a member of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatology Association.
