Andrew Breithaupt

Dermatologic surgeon Andrew Breithaupt, MD, FAAD, FACMS, practices at Dermatology Associates Medical Group in Beverly Hills. He is board certified in dermatology and dermatologic surgery. His clinical focus is Mohs micrographic surgery and complex reconstruction, and he also provides cosmetic dermatology. He received his M.D. from UC San Diego, completed a dermatology residency at UCLA, and then did a UCLA fellowship spanning Mohs surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He has carried out more than 20,000 Mohs and reconstructive procedures. At UCLA he volunteers instructing medical students, residents and fellows, and he volunteers caring for veterans at the West LA Veterans Hospital. He has authored over twenty scientific articles and four book chapters, and has delivered more than twenty-five talks at scientific meetings. According to the practice, he is an internationally recognized expert and thought leader in dermatologic surgery.
