Jessica Willson

Jessica Willson owns White Lotus Hair Studio and works as its stylist. She has been a hairstylist for more than 30 years and has been doing hair extensions since 1996. She worked at the same salon for 22 years before opening her own studio in 2021.

Her specialties include corrective color, global blondes, babylights and rainbow hair. Her extension work covers box braids, cold fusion, sew-ins, tape-ins, glued-in tracks and keratin bonds. She learned extensions mostly on her own, with some mentorship from a self-taught stylist, and has taken classes on Great Lengths, Micro Links and four Dreamcatcher extension methods.

Jessica has also taught at the college level and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Wayne State University. She has trained in neurodiversity-aware teaching and creates workbooks and educational resources for independent stylists and creatives, including the Math Not Mantras course. Since 2025 she has assisted Meg Long of Colouring on the Spectrum with in-person CMY color theory courses across the United States.
