Jessica Smith

Jessica Smith co-owns Smith & Mendoza Salon as its Creative Director and is an extension specialist. She graduated from cosmetology school in 2003 and started as a hairstylist in a small Chicago salon.

She trained at Vidal Sassoon, joining in 2004 and earning the title of Senior Stylist after four years there. In 2014 she joined Saco Salon after ten years with Vidal Sassoon, and she traveled internationally as a member of the Saco Team through Saco Salon and Academy. She also assisted in creating a collection for a London show in 2015.

She specializes in creative and precision cutting, and in 2023 she became Bellami certified and Polly Hair certified in K-tip specialization. She aims to provide total delivery with attention to detail and style for each client.
