Jess Ortiz owns Flaired Beauty, started the studio and works there as a stylist and colorist. She specializes in low-maintenance blonding and gray blending and has been a licensed stylist for over 22 years, licensed in both Tennessee and Texas.
Her training includes time with Aveda and a program from Queen City Beauty College in 2003. She also completed the K-Tip Mastery Course in October 2025. Earlier in her career she worked at Aveda Concept Salon from 2014 to 2019, and she spent four years on the Ms. Texas pageant circuit.
Her work centers on women who want low-maintenance hair and a softer grow-out. She plans visits around placement, long-term hair health and realistic upkeep at home, and she gives clients a clear plan before they leave covering what to expect in the salon and between visits. She believes great hair should make life easier, not more complicated. Clients praise her color work and her listening.
