Jerold Olson

Jerold Olson is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who practices at Foothills Facial Plastic Surgery in Tucson, Arizona. He opened his own private practice in 2001. Before that, in 1995, he returned to Tucson as section chief of otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery at the University of Arizona Medical Center. He was the first fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon in Southern Arizona.

He completed his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Arizona. After medical school he started general surgery training at the University of Texas San Antonio, then finished a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern. His facial plastic surgery fellowship took place at Hedgewood Surgical Center in New Orleans under Dr. Calvin Johnson. He is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has been an invited speaker on rhinoplasty in Arizona and beyond.

He offers a broad range of cosmetic and reconstructive facial procedures and is best known for rhinoplasty, including surgery for cosmetic and functional nasal concerns. He also performs facelifts and forehead reduction (hairline advancement). He often combines facelifts with facial fat grafting, dermal filler injections or facial implants to refine contour. He provides injectable dermal fillers as well as hair restoration. For hair restoration, he assesses the pattern of a patient's hair loss and lifestyle factors to build a treatment plan, starting with a customized plan based on each patient's concerns. Fellow physicians selected him as one of the Best Doctors in America from 2011 through 2024, he was chosen as one of Tucson's Best Doctors for eight consecutive years, and he is listed as a RealSelf Top Doctor and Top Rhinoplasty Surgeon and as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He is also considered one of the leading facial plastic surgeons in Arizona.
