About

Dr. Jerold Olson is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Tucson. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Arizona, then started general surgery training at the University of Texas San Antonio. He moved on to an otolaryngology and head and neck surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, followed by a facial plastic surgery fellowship at Hedgewood Surgical Center in New Orleans under Dr. Calvin Johnson.

He came back to Tucson in 1995 to serve as section chief of otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery at the University of Arizona Medical Center. He was the first fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon in Southern Arizona. He opened a private practice in 2001. He belongs to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has been invited to speak on rhinoplasty both locally and abroad. Fellow physicians named him a Best Doctor in America each year from 2011 through 2024, he is a RealSelf Top Doctor and Top Rhinoplasty Surgeon, and he is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He has also been chosen as one of Tucson's Best Doctors for eight consecutive years.
