About

Jenny Torry founded JTorry and works as its founder and lead makeup artist. She has more than 18 years in bridal hair and makeup, with a focus on South Asian bridal hairstyling, dupatta and tikka setting, and South Asian bridal looks, and she also works in Fusion and Western bridal beauty. She worked in print and commercial beauty before turning to bridal. Her training includes fine-art study, cosmetology school and an instructor license, and she took many makeup classes early in her career.

Teaching is part of her work. She is a beauty educator and instructor at JTorry Makeup Academy, which trains new makeup artists, and she runs masterclasses, hands-on training and private coaching at luxury resorts, corporate events and beauty conferences worldwide. Her destination experience includes Cancun, where she refined the techniques and products she uses for long wear in heat and humidity. She has worked with more than 3,500 brides.

Her clients include South Asian, Indian, Pakistani and multicultural brides on destination weddings, brides with several events, modern brides who want classic elegance, and professionals who need beauty for branding. She also works with brides virtually, wherever they are planning a wedding.
