About
Jenny Fay owns The Paint Box and works as its colorist. She started hair training in New York City in 2006 and trained at Bumble and Bumble in New York City, where she became a colorist.
Early in her career she followed mentors Larry Rasponti and Victoria Hunter to Whittemore House, a salon in the West Village, and spent several years building a clientele in the city. She opened her own salon in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2013. In 2020 she reopened in a larger Williamsburg, Brooklyn space, which is now The Paint Box.
Her specialty is color, including natural and high contrast highlights. She works on major color transformations as well as simpler looks.
