Jennifer R is the salon owner and master stylist at Blue Iris Day Spa and Salon. She started as a shampoo girl at sixteen and went on to train at the cosmetology program at the Cecil County School of Technology, where she later became a board member of the cosmetology class.

In addition to owning the salon, she trains other stylists. Her certifications include Redken Color Correction, Redken Design Cut and Finish, Simply Smooth Keratin, Alterna Permanent Straightening and American Crew Barbering. She has also completed product knowledge classes in Aquage and Redken, color and straightening classes in Pravana, and a makeup class in Youngblood.
