About
Jennifer Batchelder works as a nail technician at Tips Toes and Tea and has been doing nails for several years. Her training at the North American School of Podology addresses common nail health issues and the methods used for toenail reconstruction. She is also certified in the correct use of Kokoist products from Japan, in applying structured manicures with Nail Thoughts, and in the Russian manicure and pedicure.
Her foot and nail work includes specialized care for elderly and diabetic clients, care for damaged nails, thick toenail debridement, toenail reconstruction with NanoFlex by Fusion, and toenail banding or bracing. Banding is a non-surgical method that gently lifts the nail edges so painful, curved or ingrown toenails can be guided to grow straighter.
On the nail side she offers hard gel, Gel-X and acrygel services with or without nail art, plus press-on fittings and custom press-on tips. Her nail art includes chrome, ombre, 3D gel designs, simple character art, cat-eye, Korean glass nails and soap nails, and clients who send inspiration beforehand receive 25% off nail art. Her basic manicure starts with an e-file cuticle service, then filing, shaping and buffing, with a gel polish option; it is priced from $60 for about 60 minutes or more. Builder gel without nail art starts at $85 for about 120 minutes or more, with a $10 fee for long or XL nails, and builder gel with nail art starts at $100. Removal of her own work is free, and removal of another technician's work starts at $10.
