About
Jen is the owner and hair stylist at AMARETTO suite co. Her career and training began in Chicago in the late 1990s. After moving to San Diego in 2003, she worked at a salon in Encinitas, where she led an education program for new stylists. She opened her own salon in 2009, built a team there, and has mentored hundreds of new and experienced stylists.
Her specialties are grey coverage and blending, custom color rituals, and cutting. She has worked from her private suite since 2022.
Her clients tend to be open to changing their look, seasonally or otherwise, and to trusting her opinion on next steps.
