Jason ZiLong

Jason ZiLong works as a Senior Stylist and Colorist at LAICALE in SoHo, New York. He has been cutting and coloring hair for over 20 years, beginning in China, with a period in Los Angeles before continuing his career in New York. He furthered his training in Japan and South Korea. He works with many hair types, textures and growth patterns, and shapes cuts to suit how each person's hair naturally falls. Volume comes from layering, structure and deliberate weight placement within the cut. For color, he works with tone, depth, contrast and light to create dimension and lift. He approaches cut and color as one connected design. His aim is hair that looks healthy, with a soft, smooth, fluid feel, fullness and dimension.
