About
Chieko is a Senior Stylist and Colorist at Laicale SoHo, the hair salon on Grand Street in New York City. She trained at hair school in Tokyo, Japan, and then launched her professional career at a French salon in Tokyo. She moved to New York City about 20 years ago, and she has also worked with clients in Aspen.
Her specialties include cut, color, texture and overall hair health, as well as keratin treatments. For keratin work, she customizes the results to each client's hair texture, lifestyle and personal style.
She holds that the best hair is considered without being overworked, wearable, and shaped for each person.
