Jasmine "Jazz" Brown is the founder and visionary of Jazz Got Me Twisted. She works as a loctician and entrepreneur.
She started doing hair in college, initially for free, and began charging for locs after several months, starting at $25. After moving to Houston she worked as a travel stylist, then moved into a shop about six months later. She has served hundreds of clients.
Her focus is starter locs, loc extensions, and overall loc maintenance and styling. She teaches loc styling and natural hair care in person and virtually at two levels, leads the Twisted Techniques Academy coaching calls, and offers one-on-one business coaching on strategy and brand growth. She keeps loyal clients on an Instagram close friends list, which gives them first access to openings and cancellations.
