About
Janina Steele owns J. Steele Artistry and J. Studios and works as a makeup artist at Eleven 25 Beauty. She began doing makeup for friends and family in 2011 and decided that year to make makeup artistry her career. Before that, she served in the United States Army as an Environmental Health Specialist, starting in November 2006 and leaving in 2015.
She holds a cosmetology license and trained at the Aveda Institute in Birmingham, starting in November 2015 and graduating in November 2016. While training, she worked as a makeup artist and sales associate at M.A.C., and she later worked as a Permanent Artist there until October 2017.
Her specialty is bridal makeup, and she also offers makeup artistry, facials, waxing and brow services. She welcomes clients of all skin tones, ethnicities and genders, and she keeps up with current trends and techniques through ongoing learning.
