About

Jade DelProposto Thornton is the colourist and owner of Colour by Jade in McLean. She has spent more than 25 years working in colour, beginning as a colourist behind the chair at Sassoon. She later moved into a manager role at Sassoon and taught colourists there.

She now runs her own private studio, where she focuses on dimensional colour, including sunlit dimension, glossy depth and blondes that grow out well. Her services include balayage, highlights, bleach and tone, and K-tip extensions. Clients come to her for one-on-one appointments in which each look is planned around their hair, skin tone and schedule.
