Jacob Carlson

Dr. Jacob Carlson works as a plastic surgeon at Aeris Plastic Surgery & Longevity Medicine in Coral Gables. He holds board certification in both general surgery and plastic surgery and has advanced training in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. He is a body specialist. His training began in the Medical Scholars Program at Saint Louis University, which he completed with summa cum laude honors and a biology degree. His medical degree is from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, followed by a five-year general surgery residency there. He then completed a three-year plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Florida, serving as chief resident in the final year, and a one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship at North Texas Plastic Surgery. During the University of Florida fellowship his work covered microvascular procedures, hand and facial trauma, and correction of craniofacial anomalies. He has written several peer-reviewed publications and has been recognized nationally for his research and presentations. His career blends academic and surgical work.
