Ivy

Ivy is a hair stylist at Salon 96 Throckmorton. She trained at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2002 for its year-long hair program. After that she returned to San Francisco and began working as a hair colorist and stylist. She later owned a salon on Divisadero in San Francisco for five years, which has since closed.

She moved to Marin County about seven years ago and began taking clients in Mill Valley. Her specialties are natural blondes, lived-in color and grey coverage, including helping clients grow out grey hair. She also cuts medium to long soft layered styles and blunt bobs and lobs. Her color is Kevin Murphy, described as toxic free. She does not offer color correction or shorter clipper-style cuts. New cut and color clients are accepted after a prior consultation.
