Isabelle Gerard

Isabelle Gerard owns Isabelle Gerard Skin Care Studio and works there as its esthetician. She trained in France, where she earned a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur in Esthétique-Cosmétique in Paris in 1983. The two-year program covered skin physiology and pathologies, along with the physics and chemistry used in cosmetic formulation. After graduating she taught cosmetology in France for four years. She moved to California in 1987 and has practiced as an esthetician for over 30 years. Hair removal through waxing is one of her specialties, and she also works on blemishes, sensitive skin and anti-aging concerns. Her approach centers on individualized care and quality ingredients. She selects products from several cosmetic lines and keeps up with new ingredients through seminars and trade publications. She welcomes new clients and continues to see her earliest clients and their families.
