Insiyah Darugar, MSN, FNP, is the founder and CEO of Glow Theory Aesthetic & Dermatology Studio in Carlsbad, and she leads its clinical team. She works as a dermatology nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in dermatology and aesthetics. That experience includes time at several Harvard teaching hospitals in Boston and at dermatology practices before she founded the studio.
Her training includes a fellowship, the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Fellowship, at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts; the program has ties to the Harvard Dermatology Residency Program. During that fellowship she attended dermatology grand rounds and monthly lectures at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine.
Her clinical focus has included skin cancer and autoimmune skin disease. Her listed specialties cover Botox and neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser skin rejuvenation, medical dermatology and skin cancer detection.
