Iesha Wyatt

Iesha Wyatt is the founder of Crowned by Nature and works as an author and cultural educator. After moving to Atlanta, she built a client base through braiding, then moved into hair work full time after stepping away from conventional employment.

Her education includes a BS in sociology and criminal justice, completed with honors at Old Dominion University, plus hair training at Empire Beauty School. She is a licensed Master Cosmetologist, and she later became a Natural Hair Specialist.

Her hair work focuses on natural hair. Beyond the salon, she writes children's books, makes related tools, and designs programs for classrooms and community groups.
