About
Holly Gunn, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and owns Gunn Dermatology. Her work spans medical, surgical, cosmetic, laser and pediatric dermatology. She began her education with a biochemistry degree from the University of Maryland, then earned her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha as a student. Her training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center included an internal medicine internship, a skin cancer prevention research fellowship and a dermatology residency. She earned a Master's in Public Health Sciences during those residency and fellowship years. She has been an assistant professor of dermatology and, more recently, director of the UAB Dermatology Cosmetic and Laser Clinic.
