Hilton Becker

Dr. Hilton Becker is a board-certified plastic surgeon who practices at becker MD, a clinic on North Military Trail in Boca Raton. He has worked in plastic surgery since 1981, with more than 35 years of experience. His regenerative breast surgery and facial rejuvenation work includes fat grafting.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed a plastic surgery residency with the Johannesburg group of teaching hospitals. He then finished a second residency at the Medical College of Virginia, where he also spent a year researching wound healing. He is an associate professor of surgery at Florida Atlantic University's Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and holds an adjunct faculty post in plastic surgery at Cleveland Clinic Weston. He has lectured internationally. He served as Honorary Hartrampf Lecturer at the 37th Annual Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium and was named 2022 Hartrampft Honorary Lecturer at the Southeastern Society Breast Surgery Symposium. He has published two books and contributed to several plastic surgery textbooks. Since 2015 he has reviewed manuscripts for journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He was named one of Good Housekeeping's top breast cancer reconstructive surgeons in 1989.

His work includes developing techniques for breast reconstruction, breast lift and fat grafting across various body areas. He has invented and patented several devices, including the Becker Micronizer, the Becker liposuction cannula and the Becker Adjustable Breast Implant. He developed the Mentor Becker Adjustable Implant and absorbable Biomesh scaffolds for breast reconstruction, and he has consulted for Mentor Corporation on breast implant technology. He has also developed a facial rejuvenation procedure that combines fat grafting with platelet-rich fibrin made from the patient's blood. His clients include women who have had mastectomies or other breast surgery, women with implant problems, and women who want fuller breasts without implants through fat transfer breast augmentation.

Before a treatment plan is set, he reviews patient photographs and discusses the plan in a virtual video consultation.
