Hilda Villaverde is the owner and manager of Pluma Designs. She began her hairstyling career at eighteen. Her training includes classes, certification and master's programs with Goldwell, Redken, Matrix, Framesi, Vidal Sassoon and Eufora International, and she holds a doctorate from Emerson Institute.
She has written the monthly Snippets newsletter and co-authored Living Brave: Finishing Strong, the fourth book in the Living Brave series, with Mary Beth Stern.
