Helenette

Helenette owns Studio Helenette and has held a cosmetology license since 2004. She taught makeup at SFIEC, a San Francisco school that is a Paul Mitchell partner, from 2004 to 2008. She then became a national educator for Paul Mitchell School Systems, working as an Advanced Academy Makeup Specialist and teaching at Paul Mitchell Schools across the United States. In that role she coached students and teachers at several of those schools and helped develop a cosmetology makeup curriculum that those schools still use. From 2007 to 2013 she freelanced as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, and in 2008 she served as an arch expert for Benefit Cosmetics. With more than four years of experience, she has created hair and makeup looks for fashion shows, photo shoots and bridal clients. She has also done wig and makeup work for the San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Ballet Association, and has worked in salons in South San Francisco, Millbrae, Burlingame and Daly City. She opened her own business in January 2016 after leaving retail work. Her specialties are eyebrow shaping and beauty makeup.
