Helen Taylor

Helen Taylor is the founder of Hairloom Wellness and leads its hair restoration services as a trichologist. She founded Hair Dreams Boutique Salon in Pasadena in December 2020. Her professional start was at Pasadena City College, where she studied cosmetology, and she holds a California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology license obtained in 2014. She has more than 12 years of professional experience.

She has worked in Beverly Hills, Studio City and Pasadena, in luxury salons, entertainment productions and private settings. She has more than seven years of experience specializing in hair extensions and has served as an educator for HairdreamsUSA, a hair extension company. Her extension training includes an apprenticeship with Ashley's Extensions from 2014 to 2017 and a run of certifications from Dreamcatchers in 2015, HairdreamsUSA Nano in 2016, Bellami in 2019, HairdreamsUSA Educator in 2021, HairdreamsUSA Microline in 2022 and Mesh Integration in 2024.

Her move into trichology and hair restoration followed more clients arriving with hair loss, especially at the crown. She blends cosmetology, trichology, CRLAB education and integrative health studies, and she puts natural hair health first, checking daily routines and scalp condition at every visit. Recent credentials include a trichology certification and Yume Head Spa certification in 2024, AlmaTED Hair Restoration training, Calecim Advanced Hair System certification and CRLAB Trichology Specialist certification in 2025. She is a member of the American Hair Loss Council (2025) and is working toward IHP certification at the Integrative Health Practitioner Institute.
