Hazel LaSante owns Hazel's Hair Studio and also works as a stylist there. She goes by Hazel professionally. She has about 15 years of hair experience.
She trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California, in 2007 and 2008, and then completed the two-year Sassoon Apprenticeship Program in Boston, Massachusetts. She worked with Sassoon for nearly ten years, until August 2018.
After that she ran Hazel's Hair Studio inside Sola Salon Studios for about five years as an independent stylist. In January 2024 she moved the studio to Sage Collective Salon in Wakefield. Her cutting combines Sassoon precision with a visual sensibility, and she has published haircut case studies covering bobs, pixies, fades, and curly or wavy hair.
