Gretchen Mayfield

Gretchen Mayfield owns G Mayfield Skin Care and works as its master esthetician. She is a nationally certified master esthetician with 30 years of experience, and her career began in luxury spas across the Midwest.

After moving to the Seattle area she pursued further education as a medical assistant. There she spent three years alongside a plastic surgeon, assisting with facial plastic surgeries and carrying out skin treatments and laser procedures. In Portland she worked as a medical assistant and spa manager for an allergist, with a focus on laser treatments and intense pulsed light therapy.

Her specialty is medical-grade skincare for aging skin. She works with clients during and after cancer treatment, having completed a specialized oncology course for estheticians. For skin concerns outside her expertise she works with local dermatologists and a medical director, and she continues her education in skincare.
